From a young age, I was artistic at heart, and often found myself drawing, writing stories, or creating things. As I got older, I found I had a knack for technology, and would fix computers for family and friends. In high school, I had inherited an old DSLR from my late aunt. While a California native, I lived in Colorado at the time, and once I began taking landscapes outside of my mountain home, I was hooked. Following this, I took digital photography courses in high school, as well as being recruited onto the yearbook team for my sophomore and senior years.
Shortly after graduation, the camera was largely put away for a number of years as I worked on my career in tech. Nevertheless, the passion persevered through the years, and on one unnamed day, I decided it was time to fulfill my dream of diving into it in full force. With heart and a keen eye for detail, I strive to make all of my clients feel valued with a warm demeanor and lightning fast delivery times. Through this, my goal for them has remained the same: capturing their special moments today so that they can relive them tomrorow.
The beginning of 2024 was when I officially opened for business. In the years that have followed, I have photographed hundreds of events from weddings, concerts, races, quinceañeras, almost a little bit of everything. Over time, the business has also evolved to add additional services, such as drone footage and Polaroid shots. Over time, I have partnered with numerous organizations around Ventura County, including but not limited to: the Autism Society of Ventura County, City Impact, and 100.7 KHAY. In 2025, I was nominated as a finalist for Best Photographer in the Ventura Community Choice Awards. In the endless pursuit of learning more, I have been both a student and mentor to senior photographers and new photographers alike.
As we all know, Artificial Intelligence has rapidly began to change our daily life. Resulting from this, our 24-hour average turnaround time and stance on AI have been questioned from time to time. From their stance, they would argue that there was simply no way the quality would be exceptional in that timeframe, or that it can be done without assistance from AI. Pushing AI aside, technology and computers have advanced exceptionally in the last couple of decades. Formally, it was the norm for large events, such as weddings, to take several weeks, if not months to be delivered. For many photographers, this is still the norm. And while we don't judge since every photographer's setup, schedule, and priorities are unique, we believe in delivering your memories while they are still fresh. It's simply not the same seeing pictures of the best day of your life 6+ months after it happened, verses just a day or two later.
We do use software and techniques that have been around for decades, but modern CPUs and internet speeds have allowed us to turbocharge this process. We do not, and will never batch feed your images through an AI editor, upload them to your album 10 minutes later, and call it a day. Every image for every album is culled, edited, and visually inspected by human eyes before it reaches the client. It's this pride and middleground that we take embracing the love for our craft with technology empowering it, not taking it over.
