Frequently Asked Questions
How many images does a session include?
It depends on the type of session and the size of your group. A headshot session may only include about two or three dozen, while a larger group for family pictures often averages around 100-200. Your quote includes the entire album; images are not watermarked or limited in quantity.
What time of the day do you shoot?
Most commonly later in the afternoon, or sometimes in the morning. Timing is determined by location choice in conjunction with the direction of the sun and available light. Shoots are not performed in the middle of the day due to harsh lighting.
Do you travel outside Ventura County?
Yes. We regularly serve Ventura, Santa Barbara, and LA. Shoots outside Ventura County are subject to a $100 travel fee to cover gas and parking. Farther locations requiring flights or overnight stays are billed for those expenses separately.
How soon will I get my photos after the shoot?
Most commonly, you will get them the same or next day. Please note that images are not delivered until the invoice is paid in full.
What do we wear?
While not required, we strongly encourage inquiring with us on your clothing before a shoot. Having matching colors that go with your desired location will make a huge difference in the quality of your pictures. E.G. wearing matching blue clothing in an autumnal setting works very well, since blue and orange are complementary. Graphic tees, stripes, patterns, or several colors of clothing mixed together can be distracting and create a disjointed composition.
Do you offer payment plans or financing?
Yes. We accept cash, all major credit cards, Venmo, and Zelle, and offer 0% APR financing through Affirm and Klarna with no impact to your credit to apply.
